Roel van Raak has a B.Sc. and M.Sc. (Ir.) in Systems Engineering, Policy Analysis and Management from Delft Technical University. His research interests are in connecting transition modeling to transition management and applying theory to the (policy) practice. He has been active in various sectors of society, with a focus on water (management) and especially healthcare, both as a university researcher and commercial consultant. He is currently completing his Ph.D. of integrating various conceptual frameworks and scales in transition studies for policy purposes applied to the Dutch health care system and working as a researcher and consultant at DRIFT.
