DRIFT is developing a strategic partnership under the name aephoria.

aephoria specializes in corporate sustainability and works with clients across industries to develop and embed sustainability into their core business strategies. The other partners of aephoria are InterfaceRAISE and HallemaVanLoon.

aephoria is the Greek term for sustainability, meaning a continuous development of the human society over many generations that respects the earth’s limited natural resources and does not take only into account economic growth but also socio-cultural needs. Language often dictates and expands our thought and this is a word denoting a positive direction and an active perception of the environment and the future of our planet. The Greek word “ae”, refers to an endless duration. aephoria is not solely a linguistic choice, it  constitutes a message unto itself.

DRIFT is also initiating transition research in the field of Business. Currently several papers are being written and abstracts have successfully been submitted to the following conferences:
